Workplace stress and conflict doesn’t have to be the norm. Learn how to reduce workplace conflict and stress, handle difficult conversations, and how to give and receive constructive feedback. During this interactive and engaging workshop, participants will learn how to turn conflict into connection by recognizing and addressing the unmet needs that underlie tensions and difficulties we have with others. This 4 week series, led by Robin White from Adaptiva HR, will teach participants how to create positive, productive, and engaging workplace relationships.
September 14: Introduction to the basic elements of nonviolent communication and effective workplace communication skills. Nonviolent communication is a way to connect with yourself and others authentically and compassionately
September 28: Effectively learn how to handle difficult workplace conversations and have more awareness and ability to self-regulate.
October 12: Learn how to give and receive meaningful feedback and how to make requests to improve your workplace meetings.
October 26: Improve your communication skills by practicing “real” workplace scenarios together and learning from each other as well as exploring any lingering questions about effective workplace communication skills.

About the Instructor:
Robin White is a Wellness Counselor at Adaptiva HR. She is a registered psychotherapist with the State of Vermont and a 500-hour Yoga Alliance teacher and offers workshops in Compassionate Communication, Compassion Fatigue, Mindfulness, Yoga & Psychosynthesis. Robin’s approach to providing assistance is anchored by these two questions: What’s going on in your current life? How can I help support you in moving through the situation? With a background in social services, Robin is a skilled presenter and an empathetic counselor.
