Champlain College Mock Interview Days: Nov 8-12, 2021 (Virtual and in-person options)
Hello VBSR Members,
The interview process can be a very intimidating and overwhelming experience for many job applicants. Perhaps you can recall your first interview. Participating in a practice interview before the “big day” can take some of the pressure off the interviewee and instill confidence in even the most inexperienced applicant.
Career Collaborative is recruiting volunteer guest facilitators to help prepare our students for interviews during FALL 2021 MOCK INTERVIEW DAYS – Monday through Friday, November 8 through 12. Interviews will be hosted virtually on Google Meet on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and in person* on Wednesday.
Your time commitment can be as little as one hour or could expand to several hours over one or multiple dates. During each one-hour session you’ll interview a student, review their résumé, and provide feedback. Career Collaborative will provide candidate information, sample questions, and an evaluation rubric.
No subject matter expertise is required; however, some classes are making participation in Mock Interviews a required event or extra-credit option. We’d love to pair these students with volunteers who have industry-relevant expertise. You’ll see a spot on the sign-up form where you can inform us about your specific background / expertise.
Please only sign up for times you can absolutely commit to being available. Start times are aligned with the class matrix for fall semester. If there are others in your network who would enjoy engaging with students in this way, please forward the information or provide us with their contact information and we’ll reach out directly.

please…only mark time(s) you can actually commit to.
Deepest thanks for your time and your interest in helping students develop this critical skill.
