Join us for our next workshop in the Measure What Matters series “Being Irresistible, Building Employee First Workplaces” on December 11th at Downstreet in Barre, VT. This workshop will focus on employees, and participants will hear professional development case studies and explore: best practices for employee coaching and review processes, what makes a great employee handbook, how to draft effective, easy-to-understand policies, and how to support employees through benefits.

Jen Cinadr, VEIC, will share the process they use for employee coaching and professional development. Kara Campbell from Burton will share what their company does for non-traditional benefits, how they select benefits and some of the unique ways they educate employees about benefits. Dan Gauthier from VSECU will share a tool they use for onboarding employees, and Emily Gaynor from Bee’s Wrap will share the process their company is using to create an employee handbook, and also what their employee onboarding program looks like, and what they are aiming for it to be in the future.

VBSR’s Measure What Matters workshop series is your opportunity to learn from some of the best companies in New England, see how you measure up against industry leaders, and find new ways to improve your business operations. Workshop attendees will leave with  tools for change and an expanded network of professionals who believe in business as a power for good! Modeled after the B-Corp Impact Assessment, this new series will help members to better support their communities, reduce the impact of their operations on the environment and to create the best workplace for their employees. Join us for a single workshop or two or the entire series. With a multi-workshop registration, different employees in your organization can attend different workshops. Workshops are available for VBSR and NHBSR members only, with 50% discounts for Champion Members and 25% discounts for Gold Members.
