B2B Growing Your Food Business
Following up ACORN’s Producer Buyer Forum in November is the winter workshops series covering a range of business development topics. These casual meet-ups include peer to peer sharing on a range of topics.
The February 1st workshop is a partnership between ACORN and Stonecutter Spirits with a “Happy Hour” meet up at Stonecutter Spirits in Middlebury from 5-7:00. Krin Barberi of Krin’s Bakery, Sas Stewart of Stonecutter Spirits, and Eliza La Rocca of Farmhouse Chocolates team up to give their take on incrementally growing a business. Each provides their tips on how to prepare organizationally and how to navigate unforeseen obstacles. There will be plenty of time for give and take from the audience and B2B networking.
ACORN hosts small workshops, gatherings and meet-ups throughout Addison County. Topical, targeted and casual, these meetings bring together our farm, food and forest producers. Another partnership between Stonecutter and ACORN is February 22; A Grower’s Take on Hemp: meeting the new market demand.
Others in the series include Growing Your Business, Retailing for Farmers: farm-stands & farmers’ markets, Creating a Nimble Brand, Ag-Tourism and many more in the series.
Join us for engaging conversations through the topical meet-ups and workshops.
