Are you ready for the start of the 2024 Vermont legislative session?

You will be after attending the 2023 VBSR Legislative Breakfast!

Join VBSR members, policymakers, advocates, and state officials as we explore and celebrate the opportunities ahead to work together toward a just, thriving, and transformative economy in the upcoming session. Guests will enjoy free and delicious coffee donated by Kestrel Coffee Roasters as well as free finger foods.

Our day begins with a networking breakfast at 8:00 AM followed by guest speakers and presentations from policy leaders from 8:45-9:30 in The Main Street Landing Film House, The Main Street Landing Performing Arts Center’s world class cinema hall. We look forward to:

  • Announcing VBSR’s 2024 Legislative Agenda
  • Presenting the 2023 VBSR Legislator of the Year Award (awardee to be announced)
  • Reviewing VBSR’s policy accomplishments this year

We’ll celebrate our recently announced VBSR Legislator of the Year, Representative Emilie Kornheiser (Brattleboro, Windham-7) and hear from guest speakers including Speaker of the House Jill Krowinski and Vermont State Treasurer Mike Pieciak.

With a commitment to social equity, environmental responsibility, and economic development, VBSR has led many legislative successes including Farm to Plate, marriage equality, Ban the Box, earned paid sick leave, increasing the minimum wage, the Global Warming Solutions Act, clean water investment, climate action, and more. Come January VBSR will continue leveraging a powerful voice at the Statehouse for People, Planet, and Prosperity. VBSR’s Legislative Breakfast is a unique opportunity to gather member input on the most pressing challenges and opportunities affecting your business so we can make the most of the session ahead.

This event is free for VBSR members, legislators, and state officials, and $25 for non-members. Space is limited for this event, which has historically sold out. Please register today!
