This is the social media sharing toolkit for ClimateReadyVT. It contains suggested language, hashtags and imagery for a variety of social channels (including newsletters) that will help us spread the word.
WHY: A Full Cohort is an Inspiring Cohort
ClimateReadyVT offers a unique opportunity to help small businesses in Vermont adapt to our changing climate and build resilience to climate-related business interruptions. 20 businesses located in Vermont with 50 employees or fewer will participate in the inaugural cohort – together we can fill it with great applicants.

Eligible businesses will apply from October 3 through Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 11:59 pm ET.

Sharing your enthusiasm about ClimateReadyVT on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and other social media channels will help spread the word exponentially. Including the same information in your newsletters/channels – internal and external – really helps with reach.

Suggested Newsletter Language
Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility (VBSR) has launched ClimateReadyVT, a new, free program designed to help small businesses in Vermont adapt to our changing climate and build resilience to climate-related business interruptions.
Registration is open through October 17 and the cohort will convene starting in early November
20 businesses located in Vermont with 50 employees or fewer will participate in the inaugural cohort, with priority given to businesses that are BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and woman owned/managed, as well as those located in rural Vermont.
