After a decade working behind the scenes in the beauty industry, where Abbott learned how much of what we put onto our skin is absorbed into the body, Abbott combined his passion for organic food with the market demand for organic skincare to create OGEE.

The brand launched in late 2016 to rave reviews from publications ranging from Vanity Fair to Vogue, and grew at 700% in 2018 through direct-to-consumer online sales.

Outside of work, Abbott serves on the Board of the Vermont Symphony Orchestra in expanding their mission to provide innovative musical performances and expose Vermont’s children to music education – the true universal language.

Abbott hails from rural Vermont and studied Accounting at Champlain College. Today, he lives between Burlington and New York City, where he practices yoga, spends time outdoors, visits museums and concerts, and manages his rental properties.
