Jane came to VBSR in 2016 after spending nine years with the Vermont Historical Society (VHS), where she served as Director of Development. In her time at VHS, Campbell led the efforts to complete capital, annual and debt reduction campaigns and managed the organization’s community relations and outreach. Prior to that, she was Executive Director of Copley Hospital Foundation, and from 1992-2002, Campbell served as VBSR’s first full-time Executive Director.
During her first tenure at the helm, VBSR became a player in Vermont’s political world, advocating for livable wages and sustainable development legislation. Under her leadership, the organization also created a sister 501(c)3 non-profit organization for research and education and more than quadrupled in membership, growing from 80 members to 365. (VBSR currently has 700+ members.) Jane is excited to be back! She and her family live in Morrisville, and in her spare time she enjoys outdoor activities and serving on the board of the Governor’s Institute of Vermont. email@example.comCollapse
