VBSR's Legislative Team advocates for member-driven public policy positions in the Vermont legislature. VBSR is a voice in Montpelier for a socially responsible business ethic supporting sustainable economic development, environmental protection, workplace quality, publicly financed healthcare de-coupled from employment, and healthy communities. Businesses Support Health Care Reform !
On March 17th over 20 business leaders held a press conference to let lawmakers know they support comprehensive health care reform. See comments from VBSR Executive Director here. Board member Russ Bennett was a guest on Vermont Edition the next day to explain how reform would help his business compete and add jobs. 80 other business leaders who could not attend the press event also "signed up" for health care reform.
