During the summer and fall of 2008, the VBSR Energy Supply Team will be taking up the issue of Vermont’s Future Energy Supply- The Role of Nuclear Energy and Vermont Yankee. The team will be formulating recommendations for consideration by the Public Policy Committee and ultimately the VBSR Board. The next committee meeting will be on Monday, Sept 8th, 10:00 a.m, at the officies of Vermont Energy Investment Corp, 255 South Champlain Street, Burlington.

During the 2008 Legislative Session, VBSR worked in support of bold policy action to promote energy conservation and efficiency, and the development of renewable energy.
