VBSR Hires New Public Policy Coordinator Andrea Cohen joins VBSR staff

Andrea Cohen Named New Public Policy Coordinator of Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility
 
BURLINGTON, VT - Andrea Cohen has joined Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility (VBSR) as Public Policy Coordinator. Ms. Cohen was employed at the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources (ANR) for 16 years and has a great deal of experience in the areas of public education and legislative advocacy.  While at ANR she was involved in testifying to legislators on environmental issues, leading numerous study and policy development committees, and implementing public education and outreach campaigns. Since joining VBSR this past fall, Ms. Cohen has conducted public policy forums with members throughout the state, begun connecting with the organization’s coalition partners, and helped develop VBSR’s legislative initiatives for the 2007 legislative session.
