Efficiency Vermont recognized by the American Council for Energy-Efficiency Programs EVT Wins Awards for Effectiveness & Innovation in Cutting Energy Costs

On Tuesday, October 2nd, at a national ceremony in Berkeley, California, ACEEE presented Blair Hamilton, Director of Efficiency Vermont, with Exemplary Program Awards for energy-saving services in Residential New Construction, Multifamily Housing and Agriculture as well as for participation in the Northeast ENERGY STAR Lighting and Appliance Initiative. In addition, Efficiency Vermont received honorable mentions for its Business New Construction services and Community Lighting Events.

Award recipients were chosen for effectiveness and innovation in helping customers cope with today’s high energy costs while making an important environmental contribution by reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
