Details: Renewable Energy Web Monitoring Overview: Draker Laboratories is a leading provider of instrumentation and web services for the renewable energy industry. We are seeking a Senior Web Developer to join our team. This individual must have fervor for data integrity, data accuracy, aesthetic presentation and renewable energy. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain database driven web applications as member of programming team. Requirements: Fluent in PHP, XML, XHTML, SQL and JavaScript Strong understanding of object-orientated PHP5 programming language. Understand Test Driven Development and modern coding best practices. Expert MySQL 5.x database development and administration experience. Understand MVC design patterns and application frameworks. Demonstrated use of AJAX with prototype and scriptaculous. Has successfully developed database driven “web 2.0” applications. Experience with Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP server administration, firewalls , SSH and CRON tasks. Ability to learn and produce in a fast paced environment. Desired Background and Experience: BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering desired. Code Igniter and/or Ruby on Rails experience a plus. 4+ years web development experience. Personal Characteristics: Team player Detail oriented Passionate about the benefits of renewable energy & green technologies. Highly motivated, self starter Willing to make aggressive commitments and meet them. Does “whatever it takes” to get the job done. Entrepreneurial spirit, enjoys a startup environment.
