Details: The Store Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining an excellent customer experience, overseeing and accountability for the operation of the entire store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability through effective merchandising, inventory maintenance, expense control, ensuring up-to-date staff training, store level human resources support, and managing operating costs and shrinkage. Develops ongoing strategies to continuously improve all aspects of the store operations.
Principal Responsibilities:
Ensure through active employee management that each Small Dog Electronics Customer receives outstanding service by delivering a customer friendly environment which includes the greeting and acknowledgment of every Small Dog Electronics Customer, maintaining outstanding standards for store personnel and facility and mandating solid product knowledge.
Analyze and measure business trends for store and current market; develop strategies, create dynamic, ongoing goals and objectives, and implement plans to maximize sales and exceed goals and objectives.
Effectively plan and schedule for optimum and efficient coverage of sales floor and service department.
Ensure appropriate merchandise stock levels, merchandise adjacencies and presentations; current signage and assortment in all departments; ensure selling floor is adequately stocked and provides an interactive purchasing experience for the Small Dog Electronics Customer.
Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures through regular store management and staff meetings, store walk-through and audits, etc.
Continually evaluate and react to performance. Responsible for regular employee reviews and Performance Improvement Plans, as well as any necessary Corrective Action needed in addressing issues within store.
Train and develop store management team in all aspects of the business; direct and monitor training and development for all store personnel.
Organize and lead Apple and other product training courses for Small Dog Electronics employees and customers.
Proven leadership experience. Minimum of 10 years Retail Experience, 5+ in a Management role. Must possess high level of cultural awareness and an entrepreneurial spirit.
BA/BS in Business, Marketing, or field related to our business strongly preferred. Previous experience in Electronics/Computer retail environment preferred, Apple Product retail or service experience strongly preferred.
