Guests are invited to bring their lunches, and VHS provides coffee, tea, and ice water for our Third Thursday lecture series. In March 1992, the Winooski River flooded its banks, leading to one of the worst floods in the Capital City’s history. Join Vermont Historical Society staff to remember that day. After a brief timeline of events with photos, we’ll invite community members to share their own memories of the flood and recovery, twenty five years later.
