Andrea Cohen, Executive Director.  Andrea became the Executive Director of Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility (VBSR) in the fall of 2010. Andrea originally joined VBSR in the fall of 2006 as the Public Policy Program Manager. Previous to VBSR, she worked for 16 years at the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources in a variety of management positions involving pollution prevention, resource conservation, and solid waste management. Andrea holds her M.A. in Environmental Science from Antioch University and her B.A. in Psychology and Economics from Vassar College. Andrea lives in Montpelier with her partner Matt Chapman, and her nine year old son Anders Shenholm. andreac@vbsr.org

Dan Barlow, Public Policy Manager. Dan  joined VBSR as Public Policy Manager in the fall of 2010. Previously, Dan worked as a political reporter for the Vermont Press Bureau, was the recipient of the 2009 New England Associated Press award, and was a frequent guest on various Vermont news and analysis television and radio programs. Dan started in Vermont journalism in 2002, first at the Brattleboro Reformer, then at the Rutland Herald, and most recently at the Vermont Press Bureau. Dan lives in Montpelier with his girlfriend Phayvanh Luekhamhan and their cat Luna. He is a graduate of Keene State College where he majored in journalism. danielb@vbsr.org 

Becky Cohen, Internship Program & Special Projects Manger. Becky joined the VBSR team as the Internship Program and Special Projects Manager in October of 2011. She was previously employed by AllEarth Renewables where she handled their customer support and assisted all departments of the company in a variety of tasks. Becky graduated from the University of Vermont in the Spring of 2010 with a Sociology major and a Business minor. After graduating, she spent the summer interning with VBSR to promote the "Buy Local Resource Guide and Coupon Book," and working at HRSentry to learn the basics of internet based marketing. Becky currently lives in Burlington. beckyc@vbsr.org

Calen King, Finance Manager & Local First Vermont Program Manager. Calen joined VBSR in October of 2008 as the Office Manager. She manages VBSR's Local First Vermont program including the Buy Local Resource Guide and Coupon book which is produced every fall. In addition, she oversees the financial aspects of VBSR including accounts receivable and payable. She was previously with Ben & Jerry’s in Franchise Development and has a background in retail and restaurant management. Calen holds her B.A. in Food and Beverage Management from the New England Culinary Institute. Originally from Shrewsbury, Vermont, she now resides in Hinesburg with her husband Lonnie and son Oliver. calenk@vbsr.org
